Discussion: Ticks

I brushed off heaps while sitting at the finish and lost count of ticks killed at 30. Kim and I pretty much spent all the time between finishers killing ticks.

Ended up with only one stuck on me, so the layering of elasticised clothing worked pretty well.

We bought home several but I am hopefully we have now completed a successful eradication.

Yes - I stripped by the washing machine and threw everything in immediately and then tried to drown any leftovers in the shower. I still have a lurker either in the car or in the house, as I have fresh bites this morning.
