No hills ride Saturday -> legs feel good running on Sunday?
I seem to remember a few years ago you ran crap every Sunday at orienteering until you stopped riding to events, started running well and then thrashed me at the state champs.
And while we're pointing out the bloody obvious? This kind of run is why I laugh at you every time you try to suggest I'm as fast as you are. :p
Definitely (Craig). But I can't have an easy week like this and not do a hills ride every week - I figure a 'normal' JT training week can leave my legs feeling carp but I still gain in potential performance... it's a matter of fine tuning an easier patch at the appropriate time so that I get the better benefit of a long run like today's at a decent pace. It's a balancing act but I figure I'm getting the fitness back now to be able to have Tues and Thurs rides helping my running fitness since I can now do the whole rides hard.
Do you think if I don't ride to the state champs this year that I can beat you too?
Probably tRicky.
I assume we are talking about the sprint champs now?
Yeah I even doubt I'd beat you there given my sprint record.
Nice run Tooms. Let me know when you're planning more long runs and maybe we can do some together again?
