12-13 I would be enormously surprised if going low wasn't much faster for me (had I done it right). 16-17, heading NNW out of the control to the road bend, along the road roughly east to where the linear marsh comes in from the north, then up that nice bit of forest to the tagged cliffs, was fine. Above 17 I think you were right to drop 2 or 3 lines; the blueberry is thickish in that area. You can push through it, heading from rock to rock, but it isn't very fast.

I got in a sea of waist-deep blueberry above 17. I saw Glen going by off to my left and fought my way over there to where it was only knee deep. Much better.

I liked my route to 13. we (Jordan, Neil, and I) could have gone a bit lower but then the blueberries would have been worse.

Neil and I went SE out of 16, the trail was closer than I expected. I think my time lost on that one was mainly hesitation before leaving 16.

I went closer to the red line for the first part, hitting the trail at the marsh and climbing from there to the road. Pretty runnable most of the way.
