Discussion: IRONMAN?

Are you planning on doing another IM in 2010? More AR?

I am not thinking on doing another IM for quite a while if ever. If interested see Lake Placid IM for my in-depth write up on the LP race. It is long but in the last paragraphs are reflections on future races. The training was just too much and I like to do many types of races.

There is a bit of a void after focusing on an IM for so long so I had plans before finishing LP. Did the Canadian Orienteering in Manitoba a month later. Next year, plans are on doing a 11 day canoe trip in Northern Ontario and a 24 hour Rogaine if there is one in Allegheny State Park, NY. Likely do a fun AR like the ESAR one, may be a sprint triathlon and quite a few orienteering races. The Canadian O Championships are in the Ottawa area next August. Also, my brother is doing the LP IM so we will go cheer him on. He is borrowing a lot of my gear!

Cool blog! I'm starting to feel the void now. I feel a little guilty because all I did was go to the gym this morning. But I am getting caught up with a lot of things I had been putting off for months!
I felt pretty good throughout the race and after. Right now, I feel great! I'm not sure what I'll do next year.
We'll be going to LP to cheer and hang out next year as well :)
