Why don't AR folk use Route Gadget? I don't know anything about the technology, but it sure is a great way to improve nav skills. Any AR/Route Gadget nerds want to start putting up AR maps? If you don't know about Route Gadget check this out...

Good question; I think some problems are the length of an AR course and how many AR maps are of questionable detail -- but who knows maybe you'd get something out of seeing how one team attacked a cp vs another team on the more detailed maps.
For example, using our New England race from this year, even if you just scan and post the major topographic maps from MyTopo you'd have 5 36" x 48" maps to work with.
