There was no wagering. Mike and I normally don't even play a friendly match and neither of the other two suggested anything. Seemed fine by me. Unlike some folks I know, the game is fun for me even without any money on the line, probably even better that way.

I meant http://www.skins.net/us/en/default.aspx for your calves!

I wear them for an hour or so before and after running (and sometimes during a training run). They seem to have helped, as I now get calf problems much less frequently than I used to.

I was thinking you question was phrased a little oddly for the context I was assuming.... :-)

My second thought for what you were possibly referring to was skins that used to be put on the bottom of skis for climbing, but that seemed even less relevant.

Never heard of these guys. Whatever they are, I think I'm too old for them to do any good, other than make me look even cooler.

These http://www.skins.net/us/en/Products/BioAcceleratio... won't make you look at all cool! (But you can wear them under your O gaiters).

In a talk I heard by Mattias Mertz, he said compression socks were a must.

My roommate at WOC (a famous American orienteer, you may be familiar with her) was a Skins wearer. They seem to be all the rage.
