You did really well to be by yourself most of the way, and sounds like you were reasonably clean.

Ty. You and I will have to be faster next year. Top ten is attainable.

If you are curious how I got to 13 without you seeing me, look here: http://www.mapsurfer.com/gadget/cgi-bin/reitti.cgi...

Obviously, I was strenuously endeavoring to avoid you.

Clem, I was sort of amused encountering you at 12 for two reasons:

- You greeted me as Mr. Smith, then remarked "it's you!" I presume you initially thought I had not used my skip, but it was also funny because it reminded me of this (0:16): http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=qItugh-fFgg

- I was puffing and wheezing like a dying person with an asthma attack, while your breathing was regular and conversational.

Your subsequent disappearance was also most entertaining. The thought trickled in the back of my mind that I might follow you a bit to 13, but on principle I was too proud to wait for you to punch at 12 (it's a race after all, and while waiting 10 seconds in a global sense was undoubtedly the correct strategic decision, that sort of local compromise is unacceptable. Any instance in which it is globally advantageous to make a local compromise is peculiar at best).

I think you did something wrong with your time there, Clem.

I thought I was imitating AP style time, but other's entries suggest I did something wrong. But, I did more wrong with my running, so I am not so worried about my time faux pas. Also, I don't know how to fix it anyway.
