Big thanks to San Diego Orienteering for an awesome weekend of orienteering. Five really amazing races through incredible terrain, tons of volunteers braving the wind, epic course-setting and just an all around good time. Thanks for keeping us West Coast orienteers entertained and even attracting some fierce East Coast competition! We had an awesome time exploring your deserts.
Looking forward to (hopefully?) Anza-Borrego 2024! 10/10 Would drive 8+ hours again.
Anyone take any photos? Would love to include for OUSA Event Recap..
Is there a CSV file that could be used to upload splits to attackpoint?
Thanks for everyone for attending! We are honored to keep this tradition alive.
We have added WinSplits links to the results for the Classic and Goat.
Good times. Worth the long driving!
Is there a possibility of the maps being uploaded to OUSA?
Here is the official recap and the maps section says "coming soon".I was very curious after the event to see what the blue classic course and maze score course looked like. Fortunately I found a copy of the blue map by Greg Ahlswede
on the US Team blog, but unfortunately no Maze map ;-;
Fun little thing that's also on the US Team blog, new area being mapped :D
The existing mapped area of Anza Borrego is huge already and this last event expanded outside of the master map I already had:
