Discussion: Water table

I think it’s just low. We ran out of water 2 weeks ago when we filled the hot tub. It came back again in half an hour. Pretty alarming when it happens, though.

I'm sure you're correct. Ours is a shallow (10') well next to a small spring-fed stream.

Ours is quite deep, I think about 400', but I guess it would be surprising to find water just 10' down on top of the mountain. Nearest streams are probably at least 100' lower than here and several hundred yards away. Water can be mysterious, though.

Kinda glad I live in the 'burbs....
