How is everybody coping?

Concerned watching the numbers grow so fast. Haven’t gotten bored yet on day 5 without leaving the house, and no reason to believe we are infected.

I felt major anxiety two weeks ago when we thought we had really tough decisions to make. "I wonder if we should close down the business." "I think maybe we should skip that race in Spain in April." As it turns out, we could have saved ourselves all the agonizing because the decisions would have been made for us anyway. Now it feels like a lull - the calm before the storm. I'm expecting to feel more stress 2-3 weeks from now when Emergency Departments get busier.

How are you doing, GD44?

Not bad thanks.

I've managed to set up a homeworking station in the back room. A laptop plus extra monitor, mouse, keyboard and headset retrieved from the office. Now using a core ball as a seat which is far better for my core/back than my dining room chair.

I've got into a routine of a outside run (~1hr) every day from my house and an indoor turbo ride on the alternate days. Plus fitting in pilates/stretching occasionally too.

Even though Exped Africa Lesotho and Highland Trail 550 has been postponed to next year, I'm trying not to fall off the wagon with my training. I'm enjoying a few more beers to balance though!

My wife and I are lucky in several ways in this time. DINKYs and neither of us work in the health service. I can only admire those that have children and also work in the health sector or other frontline services.
