One of the $20 cash prizes is for the first person to finish with precisely 20 points.
I would like to share this email Q&A I had with a prospective entrant:
Q: There is a 20 minute minimum- what if I finish with 20 points after only 10 minutes?
A: The control placement will make that difficult. But, should you manage it, your time will be adjusted to 20 minutes
Q: What if two or more people have 20 points and all have adjusted 20 minutes as their time?
A: The tie-breaker will be the number of controls punched. 2+4+5+9 beats 5+6+9 beats 1+19.
Q: What about it still being tied after the number of controls punched?
A: Then we'll use the actual finishing time. But, I doubt many can get 20 points in less than 20 minutes.
