We ran into the mule rider also and she suggested the same route to us. We tried to very politely decline while walking slowly backwards to keep it moving.

Also, we got a heads up from the volunteer about the gun range situation, and appreciated that you said something. He was glad too and was warning everyone about it.

We had to attack 23 (the flat spur) 3x, and it wasn't until Tom (the kiwi) sat to get something out of his shoe that he saw it. We lost a lot of time there and a divisional place. MRA had to attack 4x.

Great to see you, and great job on the course! I had fun.

i have no idea why the mule rider thought that we weren't allowed on the trails. it seemed strange so we just nodded and kept going. then she was launching into a story about her knee surgeries etc. while i was scratching Jane's nose so i knew it was time to leave.

glad to hear no adventure racers were harmed at CP 19 :)

CP 23, yes we walked right by it the first time!! then re-attacked from the 90* bend in trail and Jason spotted it.

did you know about the third seat?

We had no clue about the 3rd seat and did what you did! Ugh. I felt bad for the racers that had to wait for boats to come back.

Also, Brenda just remembered tonight to tell me that the rider Debbie said to her “if you see Barbara from Michigan, tell her I just found out I was wrong. Bikes can’t be on this trail but y’all can run it!” Lol

Our last attack on 23 was from that bend.
