Is this still happening? Are there more details somewhere?

Yeah stop hijacking threads for conflicting events.

To give her the benefit of the doubt, I don't think Alex was trying to poach Ottawa's attendees. Boris is marked as attending "Maybe" on both events, so my guess is she was just trying to influence his decision.

In any case both events have field limits, so hopefully both fill their quota and everyone has a great weekend wherever they end up. Also (nudge, nudge), both events say "more info coming soon".
