Does Boston public transit do anything to market to new Moms? I’ve noticed that it’s a time of life when driving can become even less appealing because you’re up front and the baby is stuck in the backseat facing backwards. And it’s a time where being able to get out makes a huge difference in happiness.
But, it can also be stressful to navigate new routes or figure out how to board with a stroller. Was thinking it might help if the public transit system coordinated with hospitals to help soon-to-be Moms figure out how to use the system with an infant. Could tech people at a time when they are changing habits.
I think they try to make it as stressful as possible. Certainly no concerted effort, even if it's a good idea to. That would be very useful, but the T would have to put their thinking caps on, and good lord they don't even know where their hat drawer is!
