I’ve often thought the same thing - especially when I see people who feel trapped indoors for weeks and/or complain about the price of Microspikes. On a cost per hour basis, they’re cheap. Mine have lasted for years, and they’ve enabled me to train outdoors, which usually means a longer, more enjoyable session.
