Discussion: Yay, Arches!

Neat park. There are some very interesting parts of Canyonlands accessible from that area, too, should you come back through that way. Not particularly baby-backpack friendly, though (lots of rocks, or just out in the sun with no reprieve), so perhaps in a few years.

Yeah, the Colorado plateau is just so awesome! Would love to check out Canyonlands too, but as you said, maybe in a few years! We're at least now thinking of trying to scootch to the Petrified Forest rogaines next fall, at least the weekend lines up with my fall break...

That was on our list, too, but ended up conflicting with a WIOL event. I hold out no hope for fall breaks next year - back to reality of other peoples' schedules running our lives. Boo.
