how did 'the word' go? I'm curious how you approached and what the drivers attitude was at being confronted.

i just tried to make my point as fast as possible and get out.
“sir, you just almost ran over my dog and my boyfriend with your truck”

“sir, we are wearing reflective clothing and headlamps to help you see us”

“maybe you should look for 5 seconds before you make a turn”

if i was thinking faster i would have called him out for driving at night with such allegedly poor vision. our headlamps were not super bright, maybe 75L, but there was still a streetlight right at the driveway.

A guy in my church once warned me that he had trouble seeing me with my "tiny" tail light (we had both just arrived at an AM bible study). I said, "Well, at some point you just have to hope that people who can't see a marine strobe from 50 feet away won't drive in the dark."
