I’ve decided that hand/foot warmers are a must for certain temps. They make such a difference. I crack them 30min before the start of a ride so they’re preheated. Foot either directly on skin or stuck to socks, hand either inside gloves if they fit or just thrown in bar mitts. Just have to find your sweet spot for temp...it’s usually 25F for me but can change depending on wind and trail/road. Better to have them and not need them! Frozen toes/fingers can break a ride for sure.

yes! fortunately the Defrosters have a nice big toe box for warmers. good tip on the pre-opening. i wore the warmers in my Crocs the rest of the day, so toasty.

haha nice! i've found that if you wait til its an emergency, then it seems like an eternity til you can actually feel any warmth from them. my boots are a size too big to allow for the most thickest socks i can find :)

What gloves do you wear with the bar mitts when it's really cold? My midweight gloves are good down into the high 20's but haven't ridden in colder yet. Maybe they'd be ok with warmers in the mitts, but no room in the gloves.
