Nick:
congrats on the win- i was quite sure if that someone will clear the course they will do with OT.

last year you won as well. people who team up with you are winners. you don't even need to look at the map- just be a part of the team and that team will win :)

Bash: I was just there for the company. Although, if it weren’t for me, Bob would have missed CP 148 entirely as he didn’t see it when route planning! :)

Nick: It was worth the OT. We could have been back with only 8 minutes of over time but at about 12:30 I had a little ‘missing my Hank attack’ and I needed to get a cry out. I’m so good at these I’m not even sure Bob noticed. Either way, it gave him time to eat and look at the maps!

Such a great race in a fun location, Nick! Thanks for all your efforts.

FB: CP 147 brought back fond memories (read terror) of our final stretch of the 6 hour paddle on the Notty. You know, in April, when I was almost hypothermic?

CP 147 had such a great view!

Hermes calls it hypothermic... I call it cold sweats ;-)

... it was actually a little chilly towards the end
