Somehow I expected more trail there.
Because Albion is primarily an XC ski centre in winter, there is only one area of the park where fat biking is allowed, other than the day of the Fat Bike Festival. There are single track trails in that corner of the park too, so maybe there is some potential for expansion in future. Palgrave Forest has nice single track for fat biking.
It's not technical, but some of the hills are steep enough most people had to get off and walk.
I found today’s snow lent itself to having to walk on even a modest grade if you got going on the wrong line. I think I lost all traction 3 or 4 times in spots I would normally just charge through.
Darned warm temperatures! ;)
I was thinking exactly that today. My snowshoe conditions will be gone soon and the biking would have been much nicer 5 or 6 degrees colder.
