You just ran 12km in a little over an hour?! So surprising you were having difficulty keeping your HR below 135. Were you also pushing Hank, uphill?

How did Hank enjoy flying?

He did so well! Slept for most of it and then hammed it up with the lady beside him the rest of the way.

Great news for us because he passed the test on to longer and more exciting flights!!

Soak up the no stress (and free) flights with Hank now - things get a little hairier as they grow up.

When Anabel was 8 months old we went to Vietnam. I believe it was a 17 or 18 hour travel day with a stopover in Taiwan. She was an angel. We felt so lucky - either super playful or sleeping.

Our (shorter) flights to the Azores and Spain at 18 months and 2 1/2?? ...a little less breezy. Lots of aisle walking. Minimal sleeping. A couple epic meltdowns - one of them 45 minutes!!!

It was the best. :-/

Our Hanky would be an absolute monster on a flight right now. He's doing this thing where he gets so mad when he doesn't want to nap that he vomits.

Also the best. :-/

Oh man! Those are some awesome places to take the Littles. Bob is super impressed! You are brave parents, we are hopeful to be the same.

Hank did so well, it was the flight attendant that wasn’t so nice.

Oh man, no-nap vomits?! Sounds awesome! ;) Embrace the chaos, you’ll miss it when he’s in high school!! (That’s what I told myself in the early dark days and I already miss the teeny tiny days!)

Oh ya - I love the chaos!

The fully committed attempt of a 'limp-bodied backwards swan dive in mid air with concrete below' is especially impressive. Super ballsy.

But ya, I dread the day when I go in for a hug and get deked out because their friends are around!

Watch out for that NNV though. It's a pretty slick move. You don't want that getting out into the baby grapevine...I won't speak of it anymore.

You might not be aware, but they can impress you with new 'vomit moves' right into their 20's ;-)

They can also impress with an amazing new attitude toward napping as they age.
