Discussion: Expedition India

I'm Tracking a team mate of mine on this race. Seems to be a quick course and Skylotech were leading the way in storming fashion with Nevarest Jabbawock at their heels, both well clear of the rest.

However, Is it just me or has Skylotech blundered the win here with the biggest Nav boo boo I've seen from a top team in these races this year! Can someone shout out over the Hills of Pakistan to that ridge in India and tell them to turn around!!

Maybe some wild animal ran off with their tracker?!

Altitude sickness is the likely reason - they were heading up to a 5300m pass when they turned around..

What a long day. Especially for the team.
As I said earlier the team was on their way back, and they didn't go through climbing the mountain. The team had too low oxygen levels at basecamp, so they couldn't go further.
Anna and Jonas got picked up on the mountain by a chopper and Simon and Mårten are at Transition 4, being taken care of. They're all ok. I visited Anna and Jonas and they were smiling, really keen on leaving the hospital and getting the team back together.
Feeling very happy that all are well and so proud of them..
