Doesn't sound good for the poor lady, but hope it works out.
It's not very nice for anyone concerned, including bystanders and helpers.
CPR has gotten much easier- they decided to simplify it as too many folks were intimidated by the complexity and precision needed. I've taken it over 30 times, and civilian CPR is different from the Health Care Provider course and quite straightforward now. Basically keep the brain alive until you get the defib on.
