That's so great to hear the bike is set up so nicely! Nothing left to do but ride now!

No really big hits in this area, but lots of logs to bounce over. The rear shock mount gives a firmer ride with better climbing.

The engine needs some work though- I don't have good bike legs yet and felt it in spots.

I'd change from the light shock in the rear position on my custom rear mount to the big DH shock in the stock position with 300 psi for more of a Western ride I think.

I'll get a pic today.

The bottom bracket looks lower relative to the seat than in my memory. Maybe I'm just more conscious of it trying to pin down an ideal seat/pedal/ground configuration before getting another one.

It looks like close to 15cm butt to BB.

Good eye, VB. 20 cm before compression. Would be less with a 27.5 or 29er up front.

Deadly looking! That whole thing must be about 95 percent carbon fibre!

It's not all that much lighter than my previous bike but gets a lot more respect because it looks so much cooler.
The steerer is aluminum- I'll have to work on that. So are the rear rim and cranks.
For all its cool looks, I would probably die and be unhappy if I tried to keep up on the trails you're doing now, CO.

I just talk big about flirting with death on my rides. Revy rides the same trails and logs "climbed some, descended some, rode with no working gears or seatpost, no big deal, broke a sweat occasionally, waited for CO frequently".

And yes, dying makes one unhappy (because you can't ride more that day)

That is *exactly* how Revy logs his rides! :)
