It would have been a bad rest of the day if you used an Epi.
agree. but i don't really know what happens after epi injection...high HR, roid rage??
Haha yes. "What am I supposed to do with all this adrenaline?!" I wouldn't want to test out the side effects in a race setting. Hopefully you never have to use it!
Already a bad day if you need an epi, especially out in the middle of nowhere. use epi => go directly to nearest er. no? for severe anaphylx, 20% chance of needing a second dose and 20% chance of biphasic reaction.
Agreed. I've only used it in an EMS setting, and all patients automatically go to the ER if given epi.
Curious to hear what your results are from Mayo. Also, when was the last time you had a notable "batch" of tick bites? I was well on my way to two tick bite free years, and then the Berryman happened. Again. I'd love some hope that enough time of being "clean" might actually mean a reduction in sensitivity to alpha gal.
Garri - results of alpha-gal way down. but still way higher than "normal". and i can't really remember recent tick exposure. so maybe there hasn't been any, and i haven't slipped up w food, so there is hope??
