Max & I walked down to the finish area and were probably around when you finished, but we didn't see you. Max liked the live band (as did I ... a little Grateful Dead followed by Beatles ... followed by "I want someping to eat!" [seeing all the runners with food]). We headed to the B&N cafe, which looks out over the finish, but by that time the race was over & race workers were dismantling everything.
What a gorgeous day for a race! And the finish area (and knowing much of the race course) made me want to run it. Maybe next year. :-)
Wow! When I want to get back into training, I do a wimpy local score O meet. You run a half marathon! I'm impressed (and intimidated)
Sorry I missed you, Peggy and Max. A friendly face or two, would have been nice to see.
Thanks, Mary, and welcome back!
I would be more impressed if I had navigated my way through the course, but I only had to follow the big yellow arrows on the ground.
I'm intimidated. It's definitely faster than I can run such a distance. Good job!
Oh, don't get me wrong - it was a big effort for me, and I impressed myself, and was very pleased. But I would rather impress myself out in the woods. :)
Sure, wouldn't we all?
I almost thought about jumping into the race myself, when I heard you were running.
Yes, you should have. Next year!
